In our ongoing commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, we are excited to offer you to a free online webinar presented by Len Pierre on Two Eyed Seeing (2ES). Two Eyed Seeing (2ES) refers to the interweaving of western and Indigenous worldviews. This course is to help Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants develop or enhance their ability to interchange their professional lenses to better understand and support Indigenous peoples and programs. 2ES is about learning and adopting Indigenous knowledge and values in their frameworks of professional philosophy, policy, and practice.

The College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA) is the regulatory body for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) employed in Alberta.
We wish to acknowledge that the land on which the CMLTA office is located is Treaty 6 territory and a traditional meeting ground for many Indigenous people. This is home to the Cree, Blackfoot, and Metis, as it is for the Nakoda, Tsuu T’ina, Chipewyan, and other Indigenous people. Their spiritual and practical relationships to the land create a rich heritage for our life as a community.
